"Wasteful spending", Emerald slams Dr Ibk's transportation Scheme.

Less than 48 hours ago, the Vice President of the Students Union shared with the Great students of Obafemi Awolowo University her reservation concerning Dr Ibk, SU President's transportation Scheme in a long epistle.

In her long revealing statement which is framed on a conscience-smitten note, Emerald slams Dr Ibk's scheme which he revealed in an interview with ACJ President as "Wasteful spending and ill thought". She made a pellucid objection to this scheme by stating how it lacks effectiveness in the long-run.

With her release, some would say there is fire in the building as this shows that both the President of the Students' Union and Vice President are having conflict of interest.

During our course of investigation, the agency found out that some members of the CEC are in support of the aforementioned scheme (which proposes to get four buses for N12m to ease transportation) while some are indifferent.

The questions now are :
Is the President really pursuing a white elephant project?
Is Dr Ibk's transportation Scheme an ill-thought one?
Is there any form of internal conflict in OAU SU CEC as many perceive?
Is Emerald's article just a mere "voice of opinion, patriotic act to the SU" or a result of clash with Dr Ibk?

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
