Acting VC averts stance of meeting the congress of students

Prof Elujoba, acting VC OAU averts meeting congress of students but only the Faculty Representatives

Few months back after the succession of Prof Anthony Elujoba as acting VC, he promised to meet the Congress of students immediately after resumption to discuss arising issues as he promised a progressive time as the acting vice Chancellor for the little time he has.

Till today, Prof Elujoba has not called any meeting with the congress of students due to reasons known only by him.

Instead, the just elected Faculty Representatives are meeting him anytime soon as disclosed by acting Dean DSA, Dr Akinola at the meeting with these Representatives on the 4th of October, 2016.

Students still seek for congress meeting with Prof Elujoba as doubts of these representatives truly representing the voice of generality of OAU students still fly around.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
