How many of you witnessed the fracas between Alfas and Awo boiz over pornographic harassment issue back then that eventually led to the infamous "mojo break"? I saw the violence demonstrated by Awo hall mosque brothers with machetes and stones though no guns. I saw this back then and here it is now. Southwesterners are good people o...Muslims and Christians live peacefully with each other, some elements should not be tolerated to introduce extremism into us o. In fact my best friend in Medskul who happened to be my best man is a leader in Nasfat in Osun state. May God continue to foster peace amongst us all.

So what brings in mojo crisis now? What is the connection? People were watching pornography with the volume at it peak in a public place (close to the mosque) and to you it is cool? Do you also witness the violence demonstrated by the so call "Awo boiz" then? Or were they just looking like dummies and not doing anything? You people does not even understand the word "extremism" in the first place and you continue using it. Who cares if you watch mojo or blue film in the presence of your parents? But dont disturb public peace with your immoralities.

The cafe in Awo n Faj was never design to accommodate mosque, there is central mosque people should go there to pray, back in 12years ago those occupying the place for mosques were practicing teblik n truly extreme islamic characters, there were many fights that broke out then fighting against fellow muslims or students.
However, the essence of school is learning not religion activities that you don't find in develop world, go to school n learn to develop society thru learning not thru religion if you want to be religious go to covenant university or islamic university but for OAU is a general school for all not any religion sect or group should be a burden on others thou i understand right to group or association but that should be done within the university rules n guide.
Thanks

Perhaps Dada is not aware the level of disturbance his fellow christians are causing in the name of religious activities is far far greater than any religious body on campus and I stand to be corrected on this. Of course the current place being use as Awo and Faj mosque was formerly a cafeteria and since the Federal government stopped the feeding of students it was given to Muslims for the 5times daily solat. So you mean people should go to religious ground 5times daily? Let me enlighten you are little bit. Faj cafe was not designed for religious activities either but it has been turned to a Church for Sunday service. Anybody living in Faj can testify to this. The same thing Faj basket ball court. I saw christians there this very morning doing fellowship. What about Faj buttery? I dont even know if that place is a common room or common Church. Now let's move to almighty Awo. Starting from 5am in the morning we are always disturbed by people 'preaching' the gospel. Awo fountain host christians throughout the days of the week especialy weekend. What about males and females christians moving from one room to the other even during the forbidden hours that females are not allowed in the male hostel? Imagine people who say they want to 'preach' the gospel and at the same time luring people with beautiful females?

I dont think this should generate exchange of words, because those in charge of leadership on OAU campus will know the best step to take in as much they are comprised of both muslims and christians. The major problem we have in this country is that we have allowed religion to affect most of things that would have being of greater benefits to us personally and as a country to have been affected by our religious ignorance. In short that one thing that has led us to recession because in most of our religious setting lies and deception is the order of the day.We need to change our orientation about religion.
