*Option of strike, Bursar's safety questioned as NASU, SSANU members storm Senate Building*

Just a month after the end of the joint protest of these two unions which brought in Prof Elujoba as the Vice Chancellor, NASU and SSANU members led by their Chairmen storm Senate building to ask for their unpaid allowances.

"We are here today at this time to see Mrs Akeredolu (OAU Bursar) and get our money from her. We are waiting for her to come out of the building and get her to pay us our money. She claimed earlier that she has no records of payment from any party for the past three years" A NASU member divulges to Oau Kilonshele.

At the time of this report, Mrs Akeredolu was moved swiftly by security team to the upper chambers of the Senate building as her security was being questioned by the presence of angry mob of NASU, SSANU members there to get their money.

The acting VC , Prof Elujoba promised of a smooth and progressive time with all Unions at his inauguration speech vowing that all will be treated fairly as supposed.

"The Great Change in OAU needs to be on-board: to stabilize the university, in terms of restoring the culture of inclusiveness and transparency in governance that respects our collegial enterprise, stable academic calendar, attaining industrial peace...." This was culled from Prof Elujoba 's speech.

It has been alleged that Prof Elujoba claimed to members of NASU and SSANU that there is no money in the school's pocket for payment of allowance.

Will another strike surface??
Is Prof Elujoba's promise failing?

These are questions to be answered soonest.
